Last updated · June 3, 2026This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will not do with it. We will keep it short and honest.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, submit an application, place a deposit, or buy a seat, we collect:
- Your name and email
- Your location and current role (the fields you provided in the form)
- Who referred you (if applicable)
- Your application answers (what you want FutureProof to help you change)
- Payment details — handled directly by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers ourselves
- Basic analytics: pages you visited and broad traffic source. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
What we do with it
- Review your application and route you to the right next step (solo, group, referral, sponsor)
- Contact you about the drop, the event, payment, and the community
- Process your payment and refund-where-applicable through our payment provider
- Improve the program and the community based on what members ask for
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever
- We do not share your application answers outside the FutureProof team and our payment + community tooling
- We do not run retargeting or cross-site tracking on you
- We do not message you beyond what's necessary about the event, the drop, and the community
Who has access
Only the FutureProof team and the trusted service providers we use to run the program: our payment processor (for payment data), our community platform (for community membership), and our email + CRM system (for outreach about the event). Each of those providers has their own privacy practices.
How long we keep it
Application and payment records are kept for as long as we run FutureProof VA, and as required by tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete personal data we hold by emailing the address below; we will do so where the law allows.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the Philippines, your rights are protected under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). If you are elsewhere, you have the rights your local law gives you. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@futureproofva.com.
Cookies
We use the minimum necessary cookies for the page to function. We may add a lightweight privacy-respecting analytics tool (e.g. Plausible) that does not use cookies or track you across sites. If that ever changes, we will update this page.
Contact
Questions, concerns, or requests: hello@futureproofva.com.
This is the version of this policy as of the date above. We may update it. Material changes will be communicated to you via the email you provided.
