Refund policy.
Last updated · June 3, 2026Money matters. Here is how it works — for both deposits and tickets — without legalese.
The short version
Deposits are refundable in one specific case: your spot does not convert into a seat at the drop because the room fills. In that case, your choice: refund, or carry your priority forward. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
What the deposit does
The deposit holds your place in the waitlist queue. It credits 100% toward your ticket and locks in today's $250 price for up to 12 months. When the drop opens (Monday, July 20, 2026 at 9pm PHT), approved deposit-holders get a purchase window first, in waitlist order.
If your deposit converts to a ticket
You complete your purchase in your window. The deposit is credited 100% toward your ticket. You are confirmed for the event. From that point your seat is non-refundable and non-transferable. See "Tickets" below.
If your deposit does not convert to a ticket
Two reasons this happens, both with the same options:
- The room fills before you reach the front of the line. You did not get a seat — through no fault of your own.
- You did not complete your purchase in your window. The seat passed to the next person in line.
If the room filled and you did not get a seat, you choose:
- Full refund of your deposit, returned to your original payment method within 14 business days, OR
- Carry your priority forward. Your deposit and today's $250 price remain locked for up to 12 months, applied to the next room we open.
If you did not complete your purchase in your window, your deposit does not refund. We held a seat for you and you did not show up.
Tickets
Once a ticket is purchased — meaning you completed payment at the drop — it is non-refundable and non-transferable. You cannot move it to another person. You cannot sell or gift it. You cannot defer it to a later cohort. We hold the room for committed people, and this is how we make that real.
Exceptional cases
The only exceptions to the ticket no-refund rule:
- We cancel the event. If we cancel for any reason in our control, you get a full refund.
- Major force-majeure that makes the event impossible (natural disaster, government order, etc.). We will work in good faith with you on a refund or transfer to a future cohort.
Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL)
If you paid via BNPL, your obligations to the BNPL provider are governed by their terms. A non-refundable ticket means your installment plan continues regardless. Pause or cancel with the provider, not with us.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback against a valid purchase, your community access is suspended pending resolution. Repeated bad-faith chargebacks are grounds for permanent removal without further refund.
How to request a refund
Email refunds@futureproofva.com with your name, the email you used, and which case applies. We respond within 3 business days.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we communicate the change by email to anyone with an active deposit or ticket. The version on this page is always the current one.
